Chardonnay is one of those wines that’s a bit controversial, you either love it or hate it. Here at Irreverent Wine, the Revolutionarys believe it’s a wine you need to know.
Ok…We’d love to tell you where this came from in the Walla Walla Valley (ok Seven Hills Vineyard) and who the talented winemaker is that crafted this absolutely yummy Merlot, but we can’t. It’s a “Right Bank” inspired Merlot dominant wine.
2018 Bordeaux Inspired Blend
This Bordeaux inspired blend from Columbia Valley is a classic Right Bank blend of 4 of the 5 “Noble” Bordeaux varietals. Perfect for a big steak, fresh off the BBQ.
This GSM is a blend of Syrah from Southwind vineyard located at the very south end of the Walla Walla Valley AVA in a town called Milton Freewater, OR. The Grenache harkens from Los Rocosos in The Rocks District of Milton Freewater and the Mourvedre comes from a vineyard on the Oregon side of the WW AVA.
Perfect for playing in the snow with your friends.
2019 Walla Walla Rosé
This is a delicious Provence-inspired Rosé made primarily with Grenache and a touch of Cinsaut. Completely dry and crisp, it’s the perfect Rosé for sitting around the pool, enjoying the beach and a picnic, or just sitting with your friends.
2020 Pinot Gris
Pinot Gris ( Pee No Gree). Kind of sounds like good advice from your doctor…..but I digress. The grape is known as both Pinto Gris and Pinot Grigio among a few other crazy names you’ve never heard. It’s a mutant clone of the worshipped Pinot Noir grape.
2020 Southern White Blend
All these fancy named grapes…whatever! The only thing you need to know is that it’s perfect for sitting on the porch, or a boat (probably not with a goat) and definitely with friends laughing the day away.
